eBay have brought in a system of Detailed Seller Ratings (DSRs) to give the buyer a chance to really rate the seller from 1 to 5 stars in 4 areas of the buying experience. My aim is to have 5 stars in every transaction, and I work hard to ensure this. When giving your feedback, if you feel that I have not achieved the 5 stars in each category, I would appreciate you contacting me beforehand so that I can correct any mistakes for that transaction, and improve for future ones. My listings are generally pre-loved items which may show signs of wear. I take lots of photos from different angles, and list any ‘flaws’ that I find during the laundering process.

I ship items 3 times a week, so the maximum delay between paying and shipping is 2 days, and if I can get an item out the day it was paid for, all the better! Because most of my items are sent abroad I am very used to packaging well and sturdily for protection so that your item arrives in the same great shape that it left me! Do bear in mind that delivery times are beyond my control, but I do my part in getting it shipped as soon as I can. With shipping times in mind, I am reducing my use of economy shipping, as my customers are overwhelmingly preferring expedited shipping with its insurance and tracking, and 4 days to Europe and 8 days to everywhere else delivery times.

Bear in mind that my items are coming from France! Acting on customers’ responses I am trying to avoid using economy shipping, as the expedited with insurance is so much more reliable, and having to wait for sometimes up to 6 weeks to have items delivered is unreasonable when there is an 8 day option. However, if a customer particularly wants economy shipping I will use that service. I pay for the shipping in Euros, but charge my customers for the shipping in dollars, and I have tried to create a $2 dollar buffer on each shipping price to allow for the fluctuations on the currency market, which does not always cover the shipping price I pay. I do not charge for the packing materials I use including bubble wrap, postal sacks, and document wallets. I also happily combine shipping where it is actually cheaper!
